Thanks to 3FM’s 90’s request week, I rediscovered Dune’s “Million miles away from home”. A happy hardcore track from 1996. I loved the chord sequence and vocoder featured in the song. After some fiddling around in Propellerheads Reason I was surprised to see how this fast-paced song could be increased in tempo (240bpm) and converted into a 120PBM clubmix, which I subsequently managed to finish.

I added a lot of custom built synths to power-up the mix, and mastered the song from inside Reason. Also, I variated by adding my own chord section (at around 3:00 minutes).
