Koyaanisqatsi is a documentary (of sorts). It is also a visual concert of images set to the haunting music of ‘Phillip Glass’ . While there is no plot in the traditional sense, there is a definate scenario.
As this movie has influenced my perception of motion on sound (and vice versa) so much, and contains such breathtaking and amazing shots which influenced nearly all aspects of movie and advertising as we know it today, I decided to tribute the movie by trying to create seamless loops of some of the films’ famous scenes. This was a lot harder than I imagined!

Great film – I had the good fortune to see Glass perform the score live with his ensemble at a Brooklyn Academy of Music screening, years ago…
Oh, this is marvelous. I love Koyaanisqatsi (I was actually watching it just a couple of nights ago) and I will definitely be staring at these loops for a long time 🙂
Nice!
