This started off as an experiment. First I created an ascending baseline, from C to C. Then I wanted to see if I could still make it into a ‘proper’ song, as inspired by Ian O’Brien.
It worked out very well I think. The beat is one of my best yet and works very well with the bass.
The song is pretty personal/upclose, but lacks harmony of any kind whatsoever. It’s a pain to listen to mostly. You can really hear that it didn’t come out by itself, but was “pushed” to meet the stair-bass idea.
Sorry to go like this on your “one of my best yet”, but nothings makes better like criticism 😉
