"Slave" artwork

Since upgrading to the magic, wonderful and fantastic Reason 6 the already awesome arsenal of music tools at my disposal has been topped off with the ability to sample (for which I have waited ever since moving from Impulse Tracker to Reason). This has finally brought back an old friend of me: remixing.

Freeride Film Festival Logo

Million Miles Away

Thanks to 3FM’s 90′s request week, I rediscovered Dune’s “Million miles away from home”. A happy hardcore track from 1996. I loved the chord sequence and vocoder featured in the song. After some fiddling around in Propellerheads Reason I was surprised to see how this fast-paced song could be increased in tempo (240bpm) and converted [...]

PM Gear

artwork, logodesign

Final Logo

Final Logo

PM Gear USA is an online clothing company that sells its own products through www.pmgearusa.com. PM stands for Powder Maggots, the highly respected fans/readers of Powder magazine. They have united to bring the world this new benchmark in ski-cloting.

Sjill - Sofa Sounds

Sjill - Sofa Sounds

A series of experimental cd designs for the fictional ‘hnl|collection’ and ‘sjill collection’. Each cd was aimed at a certain genre or style. I mainly did these to experiment with multiple moods/color tones, to experiment with layer filters using photographic material and to have an excuse to make compilation cd’s for friends.

DemonLeague Season 2 logo

After the modestly succesful first season, we decided to do another season of DemonLeague. This time around I had some new – more militaristic – ideas about the layout and design, so I implemented these ideas for the start of season 2.

Demon Counter-Strike League

Demon Counter-Strike League

The DemonLeague was an initiative of a handful enthousiastic Counter-Strike players. They all played this game on the Demon (hence the name) servers and decided it was time for a new Dutch league, an online tournament. Servers were set up and there was – ofcourse – the demand for a portal website, like clanbase. At the time I was still studying at the College of MultiMedia in Amsterdam and I was approached for the design. The DemonLeague was a small succes, so we decided to take on a second season.

This is a small selection of the artwork I created for the DemonLeague.
