Stumbled across a great weblog recently. Focussing primarily on the ‘spy style’ from the 60’s spy/detective genre, this blog delivers a near daily update of visual imagery.

There is something indefinitely appealing about design in the 60’s. Somehow the restrictions on design, taste and general acceptance seemed much more loose than they do nowadays. Something hard to imagine with the overload of variation and possibilities to exhibit ones creations (internet) nowadays. I find myself greatly influenced and inspired by design that I’ve seen in movies from this period.

A lot of items feature the great movie sets of James Bond movies, which somehow still appeal to a broad audience. Something which is curiously special, considering most of them date from over 40(!) years ago.
